How To Add SSL To Your Website


To add SSL to your website if you are using a domain from another source, please do the following:

  1. Login to your domain registrar account.
  2. Go to your domain's DNS settings.
  3. Create a CNAME record for WWW, pointing to ssl.site123.com
  4. Create an A record for @ (empty), pointing to the following IP address: 54.76.177.85.
  5. Once it's done your domain will turn active and SSL will be available.


To add SSL to your website if you are using a SITE123 domain or are already connected to SITE123 servers, please do the following:

1. Go to your website's dashboard.
2. Click the "DOMAINS" button.
3. Click the "SETUP SSL" choice.


4. In the screen that appears, click to toggle SSL ON.
5. You will be notified that this process may take up to 2 hours.
6. Click SAVE to save your choice.
